Create a cryptocurrency payment QR code

Select Bitcoin, Ethereum or Elrond, enter the receiving address and optionally suggest an amount. The preview updates automatically. A compatible wallet can read the payment URI and prefill the details, but the person scanning still reviews and authorizes the transfer.

How to create and test the code

  1. Select the cryptocurrency and paste the receiving address.
  2. Add an amount only when you want to suggest a fixed payment.
  3. Scan the preview with the same wallet your audience will use.
  4. Verify the network, address and displayed amount, then select Download.

The code is static: its currency, address and amount are stored in the QR payload and cannot be edited after download. It has no built-in transaction confirmation or scan analytics. Confirm payment separately on the relevant blockchain or through your wallet.

Compatibility and payment safety

Bitcoin uses a BIP 21-style payment URI. The Bitcoin URI specification defines decimal BTC amounts and requires the wallet to ask the user to authorize payment. Ethereum and Elrond URI support differs between wallets, so test before publishing. In particular, this generator uses an amount parameter for Ethereum; the EIP-681 transaction-request standard uses value in wei for a native transfer, so some Ethereum wallets may ignore the suggested amount.

Always compare the full address and amount shown by the wallet with the intended recipient before sending. Cryptocurrency transfers are generally irreversible, and a QR code does not prove who controls an address.
