Create a vCard contact QR code

A vCard QR code stores contact details in vCard 3.0 format. A compatible contacts app can read the card and let the person scanning review it before saving a new contact.

How to create a vCard QR code

  1. Enter the person's name and the contact details you want to share.
  2. Add optional company, job title, address, phone numbers, website and social links.
  3. Scan the preview on both iOS and Android when both platforms matter.
  4. Check field labels and formatting, then choose a file format and select Download.

Only include details you are comfortable distributing. The information is stored directly in this static QR code, so anyone with the image can read it. The saved contact will not update when your details change, and scans are not tracked.

Contacts apps can map custom phone and social labels differently. Use clear labels such as Mobile, Work, LinkedIn or Website, and test the final downloaded image before adding it to a business card or sign.
