Create a location QR code

A Location QR code stores latitude and longitude coordinates. A compatible scanner can pass them to a map app so the person scanning can view the position and choose directions.

How to create a Location QR code

  1. Find the exact latitude and longitude for the entrance or point you want to share.
  2. Enter both coordinates and check the live preview.
  3. Scan the code and confirm that the map pin appears in the correct place.
  4. Choose a file format and select Download.

Coordinates are stored directly in this static QR code. They cannot be edited after download and the code has no built-in visit or scan analytics. Test the actual entrance rather than relying only on a building's centre point, especially for large venues, campuses and delivery locations.
