How to create a Viber QR code

  1. Enter the recipient's Viber phone number, starting with + and country code.
  2. Customise your QR code and download it.
  3. Test the downloaded code on the phones your audience uses before printing.

Phone number format

Use an international number such as +44 7700 900123. Spaces, parentheses and hyphens are accepted; extensions and letters are not. We check the format, but cannot verify that the number is registered with Viber. Use a number you intend to share publicly.

Opening Viber after a scan

The QR code contains a Viber app link to the number. The scanner needs a compatible device with Viber installed. Some camera apps and browsers restrict app links or ask for confirmation; there is no automatic website fallback. Scanning does not send a message automatically.

Editing and statistics

This is a static QR code with no scan tracking. Changing the number creates a different code and requires reprinting. You can download without an account; sign in to save the design when your plan allows it. It does not consume an editable-page allowance.
